Free survey
To qualify for any grant your property will have to undergo an assessment survey. We provide these for FREE once your application has met our eligibility criteria. This is to make sure your home qualifies. Once complete, your application can then be submitted for a final grant decision.
All surveyors are insured to carry out work on your home. We are always open to any questions you may have regarding the process of any survey or installation.

How are FREE energy grants assessed?
Each house is unique. Our Domestic Energy Assessor (soon to be called Retro Fit Assessor) will need to visit you at home to survey your homes energy performance.
Working very similar to how an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is done, we draw a floor plan and take measurements of your home, take pictures with your permission of how it is built, insulated and heated. This will provide us with a final decision on the grant to be awarded and provide evidence if asked for to the energy companies providing the grant.
The survey provides us with a current energy performance score of your home to improve on. Depending on what we can achieve on improvements will determine the grant decision.
If a decision can be granted whilst we are there, we will run through the ECO grant, terms and conditions and what is involved. If you are happy with this we will then get you to agree to our terms and sign any paper work for agreed work to be scheduled and completed.
